The UPT Quantum Hub is organizing its first Basic Quantum Knowledge Course for undergraduates
As such, a basic course on quantum knowledge will be offered over a two-day period, on December 17 and 18. Each day will consist of two sessions, each lasting two hours, scheduled to start at 10 AM and 2 PM. Additionally, on December 19, an online test will be conducted via Campus Virtual. Participants who complete the course and pass the test will receive diplomas.
UPT Quantum Hub is part of the national research project RoNaQCI - Romanian National Quantum Communication Infrastructure.

Tuesday, December 17 2024
- 10:00-12:00 - Introduction to Quantum Computing and Communications (Mihai Udrescu)
- 14:00-16:00 - Linear Algebra for Quantum Computing (Maria Jivulescu & Aida Mitroi)
Wednesday, December 18 2024
- 10:00-12:00 - Qubits and Quantum Gates (Mihai Udrescu & Sebastian Ardelean)
- 14:00-16:00 - Entanglement, Teleportation and Quantum Cryptography (Mihai Udrescu & Sebastian Ardelean)
Location: UPT Central Library (Biblioteca UPT), Bd. V. Pârvan Nr. 2b, 300223 – Timişoara, Conference Center, Rooms K1 and K2.
