VISMA Sponsors the DCTI Artificial Intelligence Lab

Aiming to contribute to the best professional training of the future generations of IT students, VISMA Software sponsors the full upgrade of the department Artificial Intelligence lab.

The upgrade started with a new, simple and minimalist room design and furniture, with Scandinavian influences. New equipment has also been provided, including 18 powerful workstations, a server and video-projection system.

VISMA is a leader in the European market of enterprise software development for business automation and management. It has a high level of expertise on ERP management products, addressing a wide range of customers, from small to very large companies. The portfolio also includes complementary products for the business environment, such as POS, CRM, banking applications, on-line payment support and online shops, and mobile applications. Most of these products have been developed based on Microsoft platforms.

Starting from October 20, 2016, the students are invited to improve their computing skills and knowledge using these new facilities of the DCTI Artificial Intelligence lab.
