Rules and regulations on the general framework of the graduation evaluations are available on the websites of the University, of the Faculty, as well as on the Regulations section.

Some important excerpts regarding the graduation evaluations, specified in the above-mentioned regulations:

  • All candidates will be present at the allocated room, at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the corresponding evaluation session, to copy the necessary files and to test their project presentations
  • All candidates will be present at the allocated room, at least 1 hour prior to their respective examination schedule
  • The project demos will be presented by the candidates after the session of oral presentations. The candidates will notify the Graduation Board regarding the room where each demo setup has been prepared

 

Registration Procedure for the Graduation Exam

Some important excerpts regarding the registration for the graduation exam, specified in the above-mentioned regulations:

  1. Candidates retrieve from the Faculty Secretariat (building A, ground floor) the following application forms:
    • Registration form for the graduation exam
    • Bachelor Diploma release application form
    • Study completion form
       
  2. Candidates present the following documents, in a C4 envelope, to the DCTI Secretariat:
    • Registration form for the graduation exam, filled in by the candidate and signed by the corresponding Diploma Supervisor
    • CV of the candidate, in the Europass format, including mandatory contact info (candidate e-mail, phone number)
      Candidates will also produce an identification document, such as the Student Card or the ID Card
    • 2 recent photos, in 3 x 4 cm format
    • Bachelor Diploma release application form, filled in and signed by the candidate
    • 1 printed copy of the ID Card/document
    • 1 printed copy of the Birth Certificate
    • Table with the information on the candidate and the Diploma Project, according to Annex 5 of Regulations for writing and presenting the Diploma Project, in electronic format on an USB stick, as well as in printed format, signed by the candidate
       
  3. The Study completion form will be submitted to the Faculty Secretariat after the graduation exam, to retrieve the High school graduation diploma (Baccalaureate Diploma)

 

Information on the Diploma Project

Some important excerpts regarding the Diploma Project, specified in the above-mentioned regulations:

  • Candidates will submit the Diploma Project to their supervisor at least 10 days prior to the date of the graduation exam
  • The Diploma Project must comply with the specifications of Annex 1a. "Content of the Diploma Project", or Annex 1b. "Bachelor Thesis Summary", from the Regulations for writing and presenting the Diploma Project, depending on the language of the project, while also considering the comments and suggestions of the supervisor
  • The first page of the project will be formatted according to the templates in Annex 3a or Annex 3b of the same Regulations, depending on the language of the project
  • Candidates submit to their supervisors the following:
    1. The Diploma Project in printed version
    2. A statement confirming that the "work is the result of candidate's own intellectual activity and does not contain plagiarism". The statement, printed and signed by the candidate will be included as the last page of the project. The format of this statement is specified by the template in Annex 4 of the Regulations
    3. A project assessment document from the co-supervisor, if the project has been developed with joint supervision (for example, with a company in the field). This document will be appended to the printed version of the project
    4. A CD/DVD with the following elements:
      1. The Diploma Project in *.pdf format
      2. A summary of the project in Romanian language, if the project is written in another language. The first page of the summary should contain the project title in Romanian language, the author, the supervisor(s) name(s) and the year of the graduation exam. The summary must also include the project table of contents, in Romanian language. The structure and content of this summary will be established with the project supervisor and will emphasize the most relevant contributions and results of the project.
      3. A photo of the candidate
      4. The oral presentation support files of the project (such as the *.ppt or *.pdf files)
      5. The application(s) developed in the project, in fully functional version, as well as the corresponding commented source code
      6. All the project results, tests, experiments, simulations, graphics, existing annexes, user manuals, as well as the electronic version of the documentation and references used within the project

        In the case of co-supervised projects (such as those developed jointly with a company in the field), where particular approaches regarding to intellectual property (IP) are applicable, the supervisors will agree on the minimum amount of code and results to be published from the project, such as to permit its technical evaluation by the Graduation Board
         
  • The Diploma Project will first be evaluated by the supervisor, by filling in and signing an evaluation form, according to Annex 2. "Diploma Project evaluation form". This evaluation form will be appended to the printed version of the project.
