PhD Programs

The doctoral studies at the Politehnica University of Timisoara are organized by the UPT Doctoral School. The PhD program is conducted under the coordination of a PhD supervisor, usually for an interval of 3 years, and includes two components:

  • Advanced academic study program (cumulating a total of 30 transferable credits)
  • Individual scientific research program

The PhD programs supported by the DCTI are developed in the area of Computer and Information Technology.

Information on the admission to the PhD programs supported by the DCTI, the PhD supervisors and the proposed research themes can be found in the Admissions section.

Main rules and regulations at the university, faculty and department levels, related to the PhD programs, can be found in the Regulations section.

The PhD supervisors of the DCTI, with their corresponding research fields, can be found in the following list.

The PhD students currently developing doctoral programs can be found in the list of researchers of DCTI. The documents which compose the PhD student file are presented here (RO language).

The PhD Theses, successfully finalized and defended in DCTI, can be found in the following list.
